Asana practice

Finding balance, the practice of Hatha and restorative asana at Toru Pani are suitable for persons who are new to yoga or for those who have a regular practice. As our classes are designed for practitioners of different levels, variations and modifications of asana (poses) will be given, and options can be provided to support persons with injuries or body pain. Due to the important fact that through asana we are learning to tune into our bodies and unify our body and mind, at Toru Pani Sanctuary you are encouraged to listen to your body at all times during the retreat, and practice to your level at any given moment. Whether you choose to extend yourself or take rest, only you know what your body needs at any one moment.

Each asana practice will run for 1.5 hours, followed by meditation and breathing (pranayama) practice. Click through to the retreat Daily Schedule.
